Archery Seminar

This class will be about 3 or 4-hours. Will have multiple speakers with archery background experiences. It’s about experienced archery people helping relative new archers. In this class we would go over; How to figure out the dominate eye, for a selection of a right- or left-hand bow, Review different types of bows, different arrows, your draw length vs your arrow length. Equipment for a hunting setup vs a target setup. How the arrow is cut & how to build an arrow. Review the different types of release aids. We’ll touch on the different styles of tree stand types, tree stand safety, & blinds. We’ll work with the students to demonstrate proper shooting form, why it is important, We’ll review techniques to help you become better more accurate at archery. Students will be shooting at the archery range for yardage estimation and target shooting, then go out onto the 3d archery course for the best type of archery practice possible for a hunting situation. If you have a bow bring it with you, working on having an extra bow or two available. Everyone is welcome to attend - Please give me a call to add your name to the list. Will be asking for a $10.00 donation from each attending person, this will include your lunch. Any profits will be added to the UTV fund account. -Archery Chairman Glen Curtis 860-207-4079
