Celebrating 70 Years of tradition, & commitment to outdoor sports, hunting & fishing, education, & fellowship among its members.
The purpose of the Pomfret Rod and Gun Club:
- Promote the conservation of fish, game and other natural resources and to practice and teach the highest degree of sportsmanship.
- Promote and encourage interests and skills in the sports of hunting, fishing, sport shooting and other outdoor activities.
- Foster good fellowship among our membership and the community through sponsoring and coordinating sportsman activities.
- Coordinate with state, county and local organizations for the furtherance of these objectives as much as possible.
- Operate on a nonprofit, non-political basis.
